Japanese cuisine workshop is a part of the workshops offered by Sushimoni chefs. We have been conducting Japanese cuisine workshops since 2007, and in total, over 400 workshops have been organized. The goal is to make the workshops both entertaining and informative, as our chefs have lived in Japan themselves and have also studied culture/language as part of their university education. and we are big fans of Japan in general. We also strive to be flexible and adapt to the unique characteristics of your event.
Where is the Japanese cuisine workshop held?
A 2.5-hour Japanese cuisine workshop is suitable for organizing both in Tallinn and elsewhere, in the client's chosen venues with cooking facilities or in our premises at Tartu Maantee 84a, Tallinn. When conducted in our premises, there is an additional room rental fee of 90 euros for 3 hours (plus VAT), and our space can accommodate up to 15 people.
What are the requirements for the venue?
In an ideal space, each participant has a small table surface and a seat. Technically, it would be good if there's a kettle and a stove available, but the menu can also be adjusted without a stove.
What is included?
The Japanese cuisine training lasts for 2.5 hours, including dining time. During this period, participants are offered delicious miso soup, and together they prepare a rich bento box for each participant. The box contains various famous Japanese "must-have" menu elements like tamagoyaki, yakitori, umeboshi, etc. Alongside, there are interesting stories from Japan and the opportunity to write your name in Japanese.
