Maria Lilje

Our head chef and trainer, Maria Lilje graduated from Tallinn University with a specialization in Cultural History of the Middle East and Asia, focusing on Japan. She also studied at the Tokyo Imperial Gakushuin College and completed culinary training at Tallinn Service School. Currently, Maria is engaged in private workshops, catering, and promoting Japanese culture in Estonia through various organizations.

Maria has been organizing workshops for 17 years (over 400) and brings to the table a cheerful personality, a wealth of exciting facts, and captivating stories from her international life and extensive travels. A rewarding and fascinating experience is guaranteed!

Maria can conduct workshops in Estonian, English, Finnish, Russian, and Japanese.
